Travers Smith acts on investment by 3i Infrastructure

Travers Smith has advised 3i Infrastructure plc on its acquisition of a 49.9% stake in Elgin Infrastructure Limited ("Elgin") for £39 million from Robertson Capital Projects Limited ("RCP").

Corporate finance partner Philip Cheveley and private equity partner Edmund Reed led the team that included senior corporate associate Andrew James and corporate associate Graham Webster.

Elgin holds a portfolio of 16 education and healthcare PFI projects in Scotland and North East England.  Following the investment, RCP retains a 50.1% stake in Elgin.
