09/03/2010Travers Smith acts on management buy-out of AMTECH by Primary Capital Limited
Travers Smith corporate partner Andrew Roberts led a team comprising of corporate associate James Moon, banking associate Ben Davis and tax partner Simon Skinner advising a company backed by Primary Capital Limited on the £35m management buy-out of Amtech from HSBC Private Equity (UK).
The transaction is the latest in a series of private equity transactions completed by Travers Smith in quarter 1 of 2010. Major deals completed in this period include the disposal of Pets at Home (£955m), the disposal of Marken, the acquisition of CPA Global (£440m) and the disposal of Deb (£325m).
