AppraisalsSunday, 2 August 2015
We never forget that your future is our future. Like every assistant, you will have a supervising partner who is responsible for directing and encouraging your professional development.
However, we believe that this should be an iterative process: feedback should be given whenever required, not left unsaid until an annual review.
That said, we do have a formal appraisal programme based on annual reviews conducted in two stages: first by your supervising partner and then by the head of your department.
|Senior assistants are also appraised by our Managing Partner. Although there is no formal structure for these appraisals (substance being more important to us than form), they are based on a generic review form which is intended to benchmark individual performance against our demanding criteria and to add an element of consistency and continuity to each assistant's personal development plan.|
