Travers Smith acts on £41 million AIM IPO of WANdisco plc
Travers Smith partner Aaron Stocks and corporate associates Lisa Boggiano and Jamie Lumsden have advised Panmure Gordon in its capacity as nominated adviser and broker to WANdisco plc on its placing and admission to trading on AIM.
WANdisco is a leading provider of global collaboration software to the software development industry and has more than 200 customers globally, a number of which are in the US Fortune 100. WANdisco’s differentiated patent-pending technology provides a cost-effective solution to the problems faced by organisations with globally distributed software engineering teams by allowing those software developers at globally distributed sites to access the same data program at all times.
The placing which accompanied the IPO raised £15 million at a placing price of £1.80 per ordinary share. WANdisco plc had a market capitalisation of £41 million at admission.
Commenting on the transaction, Aaron Stocks said "we are delighted to act on yet another successful IPO for Panmure Gordon. In a week when all the news was of IPOs being pulled, to have successfully completed this IPO and fundraising is testament to the placing power of our client and the fact that there is still appetite in the London markets for profitable companies."
WANdisco plc was advised by DLA Piper UK LLP.
