Tim trained at Travers Smith, becoming a partner in 2009 and Head of Employment in 2012. He advises employment clients on all aspects of employment law covering general advisory work, through to contentious advice in the High Court and Tribunal. Tim also advises on all aspects of corporate transactional matters.

This means that we are continually reminded of the need to deliver commercially relevant and practical advice.

We also find that our "hands-on" experience of day-to-day employment work means that we can be more focused and pragmatic when working on corporate deals. Negotiating warranties and indemnities in a document is much easier when you can realistically assess the risk of a claim and how much it is likely to cost.

We also have considerable experience in advising on outsourcing agreements and the implications of TUPE, including advice on consultation with unions and employee representatives.
