Anthony trained at Travers Smith, qualified in 2000 and became a partner in 2008. A member of the firm´s Corporate department, he specialises in corporate finance and M&A transactions, including acting on IPO´s, equity fundraisings, public takeovers and private company acquisitions and disposals. He has a particular focus on the financial services sector and was seconded to the Bank of England for 18 months during the financial crisis.

Anthony has been involved in a number of buy-outs, acquisitions and disposals (ranging in value from £2m up to £5bn) and advises companies on matters of general company law. He has given presentations to clients, overseas law firms and law colleges on topics such as M&A, UK acquisition structures and cross-border transaction management.
