Adam is an associate in the Pensions Department. Adam advises sponsor employers and pension scheme trustees on all aspects of pensions law, including in the context of major corporate transactions and employer debt restructurings in distressed scenarios.
Adam's main practice areas include advising parties on the pensions aspects of UK and international corporate transactions and advising pension scheme trustees and employers in relation to all aspects of pensions law compliance. He has advised on high-profile debt restructurings for sponsors of defined benefit pension schemes.
Additionally, Adam advises employers in relation to their automatic enrolment duties, including successfully appealing a Pensions Regulator fine and has advised in the context of benefit change exercises. He has also advised in connection with complaints before the Pensions Ombudsman, as well as Part 8 proceedings before the High Court.
Prior to becoming a lawyer, Adam worked as an English teacher in Japan, and has a keen interest in languages and foreign travel.
