Alana is a senior associate in the Competition Department. She advises clients on a wide range of transactional and behavioural matters under UK and EU competition law.
Alana has particular experience acting on cases in the financial services sector, including extensive involvement in long-term cartel investigations by the European Commission and various other international regulators.
Alana also advises on the competition aspects of proposed mergers and acquisitions, including representing large public and private company clients in merger applications before the Competition & Markets Authority and European Commission, as well as managing multi-jurisdictional analyses for international filing requirements.
She also has a particular interest in advising on utilities regulation in industries such as water and broadcasting.
