Clare is an associate in the Employment Department.
Clare advises clients on all areas of employment law. She has specific experience advising clients in the financial and technology sectors and has worked closely with counterparts in other jurisdictions to provide seamless advice on cross-jurisdictional employment law issues.
Clare has assisted clients in defending many employment tribunal claims, including claims for unfair dismissal, discrimination, harassment and whistleblowing.
Clare has completed a secondment to a client's HR team giving her first-hand experience of advising on challenging employee relations cases and complex reorganisations.
Clare has advised on the employment law issues on many private equity backed and other corporate transactions. This has included advising on, and negotiating the terms of, detailed TUPE arrangements. She has also undertaken a number of investigations on behalf of clients and frequently delivers training sessions to client management and HR teams.
Clare is a member of the firm's Associate-led Sustainability Working Group and has a particular interest in advising on ESG-related topics.
