Dan is a fourth seat trainee solicitor in the Dispute Resolution Department.
Originally from Moldova, I studied in Hamburg before moving to London to pursue a career in law. So far, I've spent time in the Finance, Financial Services and Markets, Corporate and M&A and Equity Capital Markets departments. In my free time, I enjoy watching Real Madrid win the Champions League, playing tennis and I've also recently started playing the piano courtesy of the Travers Smith Music in Offices Programme. I hope to be able to play Yiruma's 'River Flows in You' by the time I qualify.
I chose Travers Smith for its supportive environment, where I have the opportunity work on interesting deals alongside incredibly smart and good humoured people. The firm has proved very responsive throughout my training contract and has continuously engaged with me to help me become a better lawyer. I have been given responsibility and exposure to clients from day one and the room-sharing system has ensured I have always had support from more senior lawyers. My work has been extremely broad, having done both transactional and advisory seats and I've always felt a valuable member of the team.
