Legal Project Manager

James is a Legal Project Manager in the Dispute Resolution Department.

James joined Travers Smith in 2022 as the firm's first Legal Project Manager. He is Prince2 & IILPM qualified, as well as being a Costs Lawyer. He has over 18 years’ experience managing  projects and costs within both public and private professional services industry. He was Head of Costs for the Government Legal Department prior to moving into private practice.

Through these roles, James has gained expertise in fees analysis, project management and project design, with a focus on driving efficiency across all types of legal matters, which he deploys in his current role as the Dispute Resolution LPM. James is also focussed on identifying and implementing appropriate legal technology solutions to support clients’ matters.
