Joseph Gitata is a fourth seat trainee solicitor in the Private Equity & Financial Sponsors Department.
Born and raised in Nairobi, I studied Law with a Year Abroad in English at the University of Warwick, which allowed me to spend a year living in Rome. Suffice it to say, I love to travel and explore the world. I never go anywhere without a good book and, on my weekends, if not catching up with my friends I’m either watching a game of football or taking in live music at a concert.
I chose to train at Travers Smith because of the firm’s ability to win market leading mandates, combined with its personable and inclusive culture. After attending a virtual vacation scheme, it was clear to me that Travers Smith more than merits its reputation for being a great place to work.
