Maya is a first seat trainee solicitor in the Derivatives & Structured Products Department.
In my spare time I love to do all things creative. I play the saxophone, piano and guitar, although now only really reminiscing of a standard I once was, this fuelled a love of music that has most definitely continued. I also love to paint, particularly portraits, and after spending a month in Italy on a painting course this is something I am keen to keep up while working at Travers Smith. Living in London I am spoilt for choice with ways to fuel my creative passions, so whenever I can I enjoy going to see new exhibitions, shows, and concerts.
I was drawn to Travers Smith not only because of its outstanding lawyers and training but also due to its friendly and welcoming culture. Coupled with the room sharing structure, this collaborative approach cultivates a level of learning and innovation that I was eager to be a part of.
