Sana is an associate in the Derivatives & Structured Products Group.
Sana advises a range of clients including asset managers, banks and other financial institutions, UK pension schemes, funds and corporates on the structure and implementation of derivatives products. She regularly advises on ISDA, GMRA and GMSLA documentation, hedging restructuring, custody and collateral arrangements and securitisations. She also advises on the impact of related regulation and on the structure and documentation of bespoke transactions to hedge exposures to key market risks such as FX and interest rates.
Sana is an active member of the firm's Black, Asian & Minority Ethnic (BAME) Group. The BAME Group promotes diversity, inclusivity and support within Travers Smith, the legal community and beyond. Sana is involved in the BAME Group's many initiatives which aim to raise awareness of the myriad issues which individuals from a BAME background face both personally and professionally, create networks for sharing best practice with other City institutions, and build links with the wider community (including schools, universities and businesses).
Sana is also involved in the firm's pro bono initiatives, including the Felix Project.
