Application process

Talking. Specifics.

Overview

Our application process is very straightforward – an online application form consisting of CV style questions and a covering letter. This means there are no psychometric tests and no need to lie about the time you once rescued a mountain goat in the Himalayas. Please note, we do not accept applications via email and will only consider your application if you have applied online through cvMail.

Overview

This year we will solely recruit for training contract 2025 from our vacation schemes. Applications for Direct Training Contracts will open in Spring 2024. Any updates will be available on our website and social media channels.

The direct training contract is a three stage process. Your first interview will be held virtually with a graduate recruitment partner or senior counsel. If you are successful you will be asked to complete two written assessments over the course of two weeks. If you are selected to attend a second interview this will be held with two further graduate recruitment partners and/or senior counsel at our London office.

We will pay your tuition fees while you study for the Law Foundations Course (if applicable) and the SQE. We also make a contribution towards your living expenses of £12,500 per year which is paid in instalments at the beginning of each term.

We are a Tier 2 sponsor and therefore able to sponsor work visas for trainees from time to time. This is, however, dependent on your personal circumstances.
