Our application process is very straightforward – a CV accompanied by a short covering letter. This means there are no psychometric tests and no need to lie about the time you once rescued a mountain goat in the Himalayas.

Vacation schemes


If you are selected for an interview for a vacation scheme, you will only need to attend one interview which will be with a graduate recruitment partner at our London office.

Each scheme runs for two weeks and students will be paid £450 per week.

Scheme dates

Winter scheme:

14-18 December 2020

Applications opened on the 1 October 2020, and are reviewed on a rolling basis.

Summer schemes:

Scheme 1: Monday 21 June to Friday 2 July 2021

Scheme 2: Monday 5 July to Friday 16 July 2021

Scheme 3: Monday 19 July to Friday 30 July 2021

Applications will open on 1 October 2020, and will close on 17 January 2021. 

Training contracts


We are currently recruiting for our September 2023/March 2024 intake and welcome applications from law and non-law students.

The training contract is a two stage process. Your first interview will be with a graduate recruitment partner. If you are selected to attend a second interview this will be held with two further graduate recruitment partners at our London office.

We will pay your tuition fees while you study for the Graduate Diploma in Law (if applicable) and the Legal Practice Course. We also make a contribution towards your living expenses of £8,500 per year which is paid in instalments at the beginning of each term.

We are a Tier 2 sponsor and therefore able to sponsor work visas for trainees from time to time. This is, however, dependent on your personal circumstances.


1st year salary: £46,500
2nd year salary: £52,000
NQ salary: £85,000 (basic) and up to £110,500 (including firm wide bonus and other discretionary bonuses).
