This year we will largely recruit for training contract 2024 from our vacation schemes. Any spaces that are available after the vacation schemes will be filled by direct training contract applicants. This direct training contract process will open in August 2022, only to the extent there remain any available spaces after our winter and summer vacation schemes. Any updates will be available on our website and social media channels.
We are currently recruiting for our September 2024/March 2025 intake and welcome applications from law and non-law students.
The direct training contract is a three stage process. Your first interview will be held virtually with a graduate recruitment partner or senior counsel. If you are successful you will be asked to complete two written assessments over the course of two weeks. If you are selected to attend a second interview this will be held with two further graduate recruitment partners and/or senior counsel at our London office.
We will pay your tuition fees while you study for the Graduate Diploma in Law (if applicable) and the Legal Practice Course. We also make a contribution towards your living expenses of £10,000 per year which is paid in instalments at the beginning of each term.
We are a Tier 2 sponsor and therefore able to sponsor work visas for trainees from time to time. This is, however, dependent on your personal circumstances.
1st year salary: £50,000
2nd year salary: £55,000
NQ salary: £100,000 (basic) and up to £120,500 (including firm wide bonus and other discretionary bonuses).
