Alternative Insights Summit 2026

Alternative Insights Summit 2026

Theme of the day: Disruptors and the disrupted

Overview

I am looking forward to our fifth annual Alternative Insights Summit on Thursday 18 June at The Londoner Hotel.

This year's theme is Disruptors and the disrupted.

We are excited to host a keynote interview featuring Anders Fogh Rasmussen (former Prime Minister of Denmark and Secretary General of NATO) in conversation with Victoria Derbyshire (Newsnight & BBC News) and welcome back Todd Buchholz to deliver our afternoon keynote – Todd is former Director for Economic Policy at the White House, a managing director of the $15 billion Tiger hedge fund and an award-winning economics teacher at Harvard.

But the main purpose of the day is for you to hear from your peers in the private capital industry – see below for our packed agenda and fantastic speaker line up.

TRAVERS SMITH'S CHARITY PARTNER

A note from our managing partner, Edmund Reed

Along with providing financial aid to charities via our own Foundation, every two years we identify, and work with, a principal charity partner. Our major charity partner is London Wildlife Trust, a charity that champions nature's recovery in London. London Wildlife Trust manages 36 free-to-access nature reserves across London and are firmly embedded in the city’s local communities. They use evidence to demonstrate what is possible; and to inspire, empower, and support communities and organisations, embracing the diversity of our society to help nature’s recovery.
