Future of Fintech 2025

Future of Fintech 2025

Overview

It has been a momentous summer, with the Leeds Reforms and Mansion House speech the biggest regulatory change package in recent memory.

Technological innovation in financial services remains central to the government's growth plans - whether that be the announcement of a radical new public-private partnership to deliver the UK's future retail payments infrastructure, or the FCA's ongoing consultations on cryptoassets and stablecoins, or dramatic steps forward on digitising wholesale financial markets.

That's why we are thrilled that Jessica Rusu, Chief Data, Information and Intelligence Officer of the FCA, and leader of their Innovation function, will deliver the keynote address. The FCA has a huge role to play in encouraging and facilitating innovation in the sector.

Taking place from 2pm on Wednesday 17 September at a prestigious venue in the City of London, as well as Jessica, we will hear insights from a host of other leaders representing, for example: the Bank of England, the PSR, the House of Lords, Euroclear, London Stock Exchange, Visa, Stripe, Archax, Trustly and Agant. With sessions covering digital assets, payments regulation, financial market infrastructures and much more, it is a packed agenda.

Our 2024 Summit saw Victoria Cleland, Lord Holmes of Richmond MBE, Lord McNicol of West Kilbride and many more impressive speakers take to the stage, as well as a very lively Q&A with Ed Balls and George Osborne to close the show.

We will be unveiling more speakers – including our special guests – throughout the summer.
