Jack White

Solicitor Apprentice

Jack White is a Solicitor Apprentice. He is currently sitting in the Finance department.

Prior to joining Travers Smith in their first cohort of Solicitor Apprentices, I worked at a small boutique law firm based out of Finsbury Circus. The experiences I had a whilst working there as a legal assistant solidified my interest in commercial law and confirmed to me that the apprentice route to qualifying as a solicitor (rather than the traditional undergraduate route) was the right path for me.

I chose Travers Smith for their focus on early career talent acquisition and support, as well as the breadth of legal sectors which they operate in. The opportunity to work with well-known national and international entities intertwined with the firm's incredibly friendly and supportive culture is a combination which no other law firm offers.

Outside of work I enjoy reading (a particularly favourite recent book is "Roadside Picnic" by brothers Arkady & Boris Strugatsky – a Soviet sci-fi book from the 1970s), running and going to the gym, as well as exploring London and learning about the incredible history of the city I work in - I'm always keen to learn new and interesting (but usually quite useless) facts about London!
