James is a Senior Associate in the Employment Department.
James advises clients on all aspects of the employment relationship, including day to day general advice such as performance management, disciplinary processes, discrimination, grievances, and termination of employment. James has particular experience in large scale litigation as well as conducting, and advising on, sensitive workplace investigations. James brings a practical and solutions focussed approach to his advice and has acted for clients across a range of sectors in both the UK and Australia including financial services, technology, education, media, biotechnology and recruitment.
James has international experience and is a foreign qualified lawyer in Australia. Prior to joining Travers Smith he worked at a leading Australian firm.
