Leigh Greaves is the Team Lead in the eData team at Travers Smith.

He supports clients and colleagues in the management, analysis, and review of electronic data across a wide range of legal and regulatory matters. Leigh provides strategic advice and practical, hands-on support in data preservation, collection, processing, review, and disclosure, working closely with fee earners and clients to deliver tailored, efficient solutions. With over two decades experience in legal, tax, and IT advisory services, Leigh contributes expert insight in the application and implementation of eDisclosure platforms (including Relativity, Everlaw, Ringtail, and Axcelerate), artificial intelligence tools, automation solutions, and other emerging legal technologies. He is known for his rigorous approach to workflow planning and technology selection, ensuring quality and efficiency throughout the lifecycle of complex projects.

  • Led and advised on multi-jurisdictional document review projects
  • Coordinated data preservation, collection, processing, and disclosure across complex regulatory investigations and commercial disputes
  • Advised and supported clients directly in multi-million-pound VAT fraud cases, ensuring robust data management and defensibility
  • Providing training and guidance to colleagues and clients on eDisclosure best practices and legal technology adoption
  • Contributing to firm-wide initiatives and strategies to develop the eData and legal technology offering
  • Designing and implementing workflows, utilising automation tools and legal technology to optimise efficiency and reduce costs
  • Managed the implementation of unified communications systems for major international clients, such as Siemens Enterprise Communications and Nokia
