Matt is an associate in the firm’s employment team, advising on the full spectrum of employment law issues.

He is experienced in both contentious and non-contentious matters, including restructures, disciplinary and performance management processes, negotiated exits, investigations and culture reviews, restrictive covenants, data protection and human rights, as well as day-to-day advisory work. Matt is also regularly involved in providing employment-related support on commercial transactions, including conducting due diligence, drafting and negotiating employment provisions in transactional documents, and addressing practical matters relating to the transfer of employees.

Matt has international experience and is a foreign-qualified lawyer in New Zealand. Prior to joining Travers Smith, he worked at a leading New Zealand firm.
