Rebecca is a second seat trainee solicitor in the Competition department.
I took a meandering path to a career in law. I initially studied economics at university, spent a bit of time in South America, and then worked as an investment manager for six years. When Covid derailed my plans to quit and travel the world I explored many alternative careers, and studied both wine and interior design before ultimately deciding on law.
The decision felt inevitable when I eventually arrived at it, and I am thrilled to be training at Travers Smith. I chose the firm because of its excellent reputation for producing high-quality work in complex and stimulating sectors, and the warm and friendliness of its people.
