Timon is a senior associate in the Funds Department. He advises on a wide range of products, both closed-ended and open-ended, with a particular emphasis on semi-liquid evergreen structures for alternative asset managers.
He has experience advising on the "retailisation" of private assets, helping asset managers diversify their investor bases beyond institutional clients, including structuring, establishing and distributing ELTIF products and Luxembourg UCI Part II semi-liquid funds. Timon also advises on the structuring, formation and fundraising of alternative investment funds across a wide range of strategies and asset classes.
As a Luxembourg-qualified lawyer, Timon has advised on the structuring, setting up, and registration of all types of Luxembourg regulated and unregulated investment funds (UCITS, UCI Part II, SIF, SICAR, RAIF, and limited partnerships).
Before joining Travers Smith, Timon worked at the Luxembourg office of a leading international law firm and, prior to that, at a prominent independent Luxembourg law firm.
