Sebastian Reger is a partner in our Finance Group specialising in derivatives and structured finance transactions.
Sebastian's clients are investment banks, insurers, corporates, institutional investors and private capital. He has advised on a wide range of transactions from different perspectives, including arrangers, originators and investors on CLOs (both 1.0 and 2.0), the restructuring of CLOs and other distressed structured finance transactions, swap providers and super-senior guarantors on securitisation transactions, Value In Force (VIF) securitisations, corporate bonds, insurance contracts and financial guarantees, CDS and TRS on loan portfolios, margin loans, and structured repos and stock loans. He also routinely advises clients on industry standard documentations such as the ISDA, GMRA and GMSLA and all associated collateral arrangements.
Separately, Sebastian has built market leading expertise in longevity swaps, having advised insurance companies, pension schemes and collateral managers on longevity swaps, over the course of a decade. He is a member of the managing committee of the Members Interest Group on Bulk Annuities and Longevity Swaps of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries.
