Carmen is an associate in the Funds department.
She advises clients on the structuring, formation and fundraising of private investment funds across a range of asset classes, with a particular focus on co-investment and joint venture structures for both internal stakeholders and external third-party investors. Her experience includes advising clients through the fundraising lifecycle, from initial structuring and term negotiation through to investor onboarding and closing.
She also has experience advising on fund 'retailisation' strategies, enabling managers to broaden their investor base beyond traditional institutional capital, including through the structuring of European-domiciled fund vehicles tailored for distribution to wealth managers and private banks.
