Chris joined Travers Smith in January 2022 as our Chief Finance Officer. Having worked in the international legal sector since 2000, and at a 'Big 4' firm beforehand, Chris brings extensive financial and management experience to the role. Chris has managed large and cross functional international teams and has held several director and Trustee positions over his career.
The wide ranging remit of the Finance team includes providing world class business intelligence to the Partnership to inform timely commercial decisions, advising on best practice with regards to net investment management and discharging all aspects of our regulatory and statutory reporting in an efficient manner. Chris attends our Partnership Board where he provides advice on matters financial and otherwise.
Outside of Travers Smith, Chris has been a business mentor to young entrepreneurs in both the UK and Africa and has a passionate interest in the development of others in the formative stages of their careers.
