David is a knowledge lawyer in the Dispute Resolution Department.
David became a knowledge lawyer in 2021, having previously spent two years in the Dispute Resolution team at a large international law firm and three years in the London office of a US disputes firm, working on a range of international arbitrations and cases before the High Court, Court of Appeal and Supreme Court.
Whilst having a broad commercial background, David has particular experience of contentious insolvency matters, white collar defence, and shareholder disputes. He uses his experience to support teams across the firm, assisting with complex contentious matters and keeping them informed of the latest market and legal developments. He also prepares and delivers seminars and workshops, and drafts bespoke know-how for both internal use and external publication.
David also contributes to various diversity and inclusion initiatives. Notable recent examples include representing LGBT+ asylum applicants on a pro bono basis, in conjunction with a refugee charity, and acting as legal counsel for Pride in London, again on a pro bono basis. He was recognised as a Top 10 LGBT+ Corporate rising star at the 2017 British LGBT Awards.
