Laura is an associate in the Financial Services and Markets Department.
I grew up on the south coast, but I love London’s bustling and vibrant atmosphere. A highlight of London life is the proximity to amazing theatres since I enjoy seeing shows with my friends and family. As a self-confessed bookworm I love visiting famous bookshops (or just any Waterstones I walk past!), most recently exploring the Libreria Acqua Alta in Venice. Running and cycling are staples in my routine but recently I’ve discovered the benefits of slower-paced activities like yoga. I enjoy watercolour and gouache painting although I don’t think the day job’s at risk.
I was drawn to Travers Smith because of the genuinely friendly and inclusive environment. The firm’s reputation for high-quality work and excellent training impressed me.
