Travers Smith has advised Bridgepoint Credit on the financing arrangements in relation to the acquisition of AirStart Inc. by Sentry Aerospares, a portfolio company of Acorn Capital Management.
AirStart is a leading Canadian-based independent distributor of aircraft components with significant expertise in regional platforms, including ATR, De Havilland Q400, MHI CRJ, and Embraer.
The acquisition will see AirStart integrated into Sentry Aerospares, further enhancing Sentry’s global presence and expanding its inventory and customer relationships in the aviation aftermarket sector.
Bridgepoint Credit provided financing to Aerospares in connection with the transaction.
