Travers Smith has advised long-standing client Inflexion on its minority investment in Marktlink Capital, a leading Benelux fund of funds manager providing private investors with access to private markets. The investment is being made by Partnership Capital III, Inflexion's dedicated minority fund. Marktlink Group will remain a shareholder alongside Inflexion and the Marktlink Capital management team.
Headquartered in Amsterdam, Marktlink Capital offers entrepreneurs and families access to leading private equity, venture capital and private credit funds across Europe and North America. By pooling capital through fund-of-funds and feeder vehicles, Marktlink Capital enables individual investors to participate in institutional-quality portfolios. Since its founding in 2020, Marktlink Capital has raised over €3bn in committed capital and today employs around seventy specialists.
Having launched in Belgium in 2025, Marktlink Capital has ambitious plans for further expansion across Europe. Inflexion will support Marktlink Capital's next phase of growth, drawing on its international network and sector expertise to accelerate the company’s European expansion and widen the opportunities available to its investor community.
Travers Smith supported Inflexion on this transaction, working closely with De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek, a leading Dutch law firm that led the deal. The Travers Smith team was led by Victoria Bramall, supported by Senior Associate Sam Van Besouw and Trainee Cadi Hutchings.
Our work follows recently advising Inflexion on the acquisition of Marioff, a global leader in high-pressure water mist fire suppression.
