Travers Smith has advised Mizuho Financial Group ("Mizuho") on the acquisition of Augusta & Co, a leading independent specialist financial advisory firm serving the Renewable Energy and Energy Transition sectors.
Through this strategic transaction, Mizuho will further strengthen its M&A advisory platform and energy transition credentials in the region and beyond, offering specialised renewable and transition advisory services to clients, leveraging the expertise of Augusta & Co as a leader in this field. The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals and is expected to close by October 2025.
