Travers Smith advises Tomoro on its acquisition by OpenAI

Overview

Tomoro is an applied AI consulting and engineering firm that helps enterprises turn AI into operational advantage. It is the founding acquisition for OpenAI Deployment Company, a new company designed to help organizations build and deploy AI systems. OpenAI Deployment Company is a committed partnership between OpenAI and 19 leading global investment firms. It has launched with $4 billion of initial investment. 
 
The strategic acquisition of Tomoro will provide OpenAI Deployment Company with 150 experienced Forward Deployed Engineers and Deployment Specialists who will work directly inside organisations to design, build and deploy production AI systems connected to real data, tools and workflows.
