Internal fact-find investigation

Internal fact-find investigation, following allegations by a whistleblower of a breach of the client in its obligations towards regulators and key stakeholders

Overview

Client's challenge:

The client received disclosures through its whistleblowing channels which alleged that the firm had acted in breach of its obligations towards regulators and key stakeholders. The disclosures implicated senior management and alleged that the individual making the disclosures had been subject to detriments in breach of applicable employment law.

What TS did to address it:

We supported a fact-find investigation process which included the review and analysis of written evidence relating to the allegations, interviewing various individuals, and preparing an investigation report. Our team of regulatory and employment specialists supported a non-executive director during the investigation process in order for factual findings to be made.

Consequent benefits of working with us:

The disclosure required deep industry knowledge to gather and analyse the critical evidence. Our cross-departmental team worked collaboratively and efficiently with the client's non-executive director to cut through the large volume of evidence and deliver clear factual findings to tight deadlines.
