Fiona joined the firm in April 2015 as its first Partnership Secretary. Fiona is responsible for providing strategic advice and support on constitutional, governance and risk matters relating to the partnership. Fiona is an M&A lawyer by training and a Chartered Secretary.

Since joining the firm, Fiona has focused on embedding a new governance framework and supports the Partnership Board and its committees, working closely with the senior management team and Business Services Directors.

Prior to joining Travers Smith, Fiona was Group Company Secretary and General Counsel of a FTSE 250 life insurer and has held other senior in-house roles as lawyer and company secretary both within industry and professional services organisations. Fiona has broad experience in a number of sectors including Financial Services, IT, telecoms, engineering and legal services across all aspects of transactional work, commercial contracts, regulatory and corporate governance advice.
