Senior Associate

Hugo is a senior associate in our Incentives & Remuneration Group.

Hugo advises on the design, implementation and operation of a wide range of employee share plans and management incentive schemes for a broad range of clients, both in the context of corporate transactions and on an advisory basis.

Hugo previously spent six months on secondment at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

Hugo is also a member of the Share Plan Lawyers group. He was recognised as a Key Lawyer in the Legal500 2024.

Recent Experience

Numis Corporation plc on its takeover by Deutsche Bank AG.

finnCap Group plc on its all share merger with Cenkos Securities plc.

Zegona Communications plc on its EUR 5 billion acquisition of Vodafone Spain from Vodafone.

A consortium led by BaltCap on the takeover of AIM listed Xpediator plc (the international freight management company) by way of a scheme of arrangement.

Inflexion on its acquisition of a majority stake in dss+, (a leading global consulting firm headquartered in Switzerland that supports clients with their sustainability issues) from Gyrus Capital.
