ESG & Mass Claims

Expert legal advice on mass claims disputes, helping businesses navigate ESG litigation, product liability and consumer rights claims with confidence.

Overview

With a particular focus on ESG, product liability and consumer rights claim, Travers Smith has extensive experience guiding businesses through large-scale, high-profile claims - helping you understand your exposure, reduce it, and defend against it robustly when needed. We work closely with stakeholders across the business, helping balance litigation strategy against reputational objectives.

ESG litigation

The legal, commercial and reputational consequences of ESG litigation can be severe and no company is immune to the risk of a claim like this. We can help clients reduce their exposure before one arises. The cost of that advice is modest against the cost of defending, or losing, one of these claims. If a claim does arise, we have the strategy to handle it effectively, in court and in the boardroom.

Product liability / consumer rights mass claims

Group and class actions against consumer-facing businesses are rising sharply and the stakes are high. We have experience in consumer-facing product liability and large-scale group actions and have guided businesses through reputationally significant litigation and genuine crises.
