Harrie is an associate in the Risk & Operational Regulatory Group, specialising in a wide range of governance and trade, environment and planning, and sector based regulation matters.

Regulatory and risk advisory expertise

Harrie advises on a broad array of contentious, non-contentious and transactional matters, across the full spectrum of risk, governance, environment, safety, regulatory and planning law. 

He has experience in areas such as contamination, climate change, health & safety risk management, product standards and compliance, sector specific regulation (including education, healthcare and travel), anti-bribery and corruption, export controls and sanctions, wider business ethics and supply chain risk, corporate reporting and transparency, human rights and modern slavery, and development and consenting risk. 

Pro bono and firm-wide involvement

Harrie regularly volunteers at a drop in legal advice clinic in Bethnal Green assisting members of the public with a variety of issues. He is also a member of the firm's Brexit Research Group, and has co-authored legal briefings including "Sectoral sanctions in the UK post-Brexit", "Potential Stormy CEs ahead for product compliance", and "the Withdrawal Agreement – beyond the headlines".
