Consultant

Lucy is a consultant within the firm’s Dispute Resolution Department. Lucy trained at the firm, qualified into the Dispute Resolution Department in 2003 and has been a consultant to the team since 2010.

Lucy is experienced in a wide range of contentious and advisory commercial and corporate matters. She has particular experience in dealing with contractual, M&A, pensions, business human rights, financial services and professional negligence disputes.

Lucy, along with Rob Fell, led the Travers Smith team advising Macquarie Capital (Europe) Limited in connection with its successful Commercial Court claim for financial advisory fees against Nordsee Offshore MEG I GmbH.

Whilst on secondment from Travers Smith, Lucy was a judicial assistant to Master of the Rolls.

Lucy has been a long-term contributor to the firm's pro bono practice, most recently leading a team in two appeals by law reform and human rights charity JUSTICE from decisions of the Information Commissioner to the First Tier Tribunal (Information Rights) in respect of access to ethnicity and other data relating to referrals to the Government's Prevent counter-terrorism scheme.
