Pensions Partner Andy Lewis wins Adviser of the Year at the Professional Pensions Rising Star Awards

Travers Smith LLP is delighted to announce that Pensions Partner, Andy Lewis, has won the Adviser of the Year Award at the 2020 Professional Pensions Rising Star Awards.

Andy is an expert adviser to businesses and pension funds on all areas of pensions law. He has particular experience assisting clients with complex pensions projects and regulatory work including scheme reorganisations, liability management, benefit changes, and difficult funding and debt settlements. He is a leader for the firm in the emerging area of ESG and sustainability in pensions.  Additionally, Andy has expertise acting on corporate transactions and operational carve-outs in a range of sectors. In making the award, the judges cited Andy's excellent feedback from clients and peers, and his commitment to LGBTQ+ initiatives both within the pensions sector and beyond.

Commenting on his win, Andy said: "I am honoured to be recognised as Adviser of the Year. Throughout my career I have been lucky to have fantastic clients and colleagues who have challenged, supported and encouraged me, and this is certainly something I hope to pay forward. The Professional Pensions Rising Star awards demonstrate that the industry is filled with brilliant, committed people across all sectors, and it's really exciting to be a small part of that."
