Travers Smith has advised a consortium of lenders on the financing arrangements supporting Arcus Infrastructure Partners’ acquisition of Wifinity, a market-leading specialist connectivity services provider. Arcus acquired Wifinity through Arcus European Infrastructure Fund 3 SCSp.
Wifinity designs, builds and manages mission-critical connectivity infrastructure network solutions for complex, multi-site, and multi-tenant environments. They serve clients across diverse markets — including defence, leisure, specialist accommodation, corporate and public sector, and offshore — who have specialised requirements and face high barriers to entry, underpinned by complex procurement processes, regulatory requirements, and bespoke technical needs.
Infrastructure Finance Partner Ryan Ayrton commented:
"We are delighted to have supported the lender consortium and Arcus on this strategically important deal, which deepens Arcus' presence in the digital infrastructure space — a rapidly expanding, high-growth asset class. Wifinity's services are essential for a broad range of sectors requiring tailored and resilient connectivity solutions, and we are pleased to have had a role in a transaction crucial to their next phase of growth"
The Travers Smith team was led by Infrastructure Finance Partner Ryan Ayrton, with support from Senior Associate Esme Crofton-Ford, Associate Brandon Geraghty and Trainee Solicitor Pietro Lombardi. Hedging advice was provided by Partner Jonathan Gilmour and Associate Tom Purkiss.
The transaction follows Travers Smith's recent role advising the lenders to Arcus Infrastructure Partners on the acquisition of WCCTV.
