Impact of Brexit on the UK hospitality sector


The hospitality sector is one of the key drivers of the UK economy, which generates £130 billion revenue each year and employs 2.9 million people, including a large number of EU citizens.

Our Commercial, IP & Technology Partner Ben Chivers recently spoke with Kate Nicholls, CEO of UKHospitality, a trade association representing over 700 companies including hotels, clubs, bars, restaurants and other leisure outlets about the impact of Brexit on this industry sector.

The conversation focused on the issue of immigration and the future workforce for the sector, which is one of the main concerns for hospitality and leisure companies.
