Travers Smith has advised UK based independent power producer Enviromena on a Holdco debt financing facility of up to £175 million with Eiffel Investment Group, a prominent European independent asset manager specialising in infrastructure financing and energy transition.
The facility brings the total capacity across Enviromena's funding platform to £1 billion and underpins the construction and delivery of a 1GW solar pipeline.
Our work follows recently advising Enviromena on an £825m senior portfolio financing package in one of the largest solar financings in the UK this year.
The Travers Smith financing team was led by Energy & Infrastructure Finance Partner Ryan Ayrton, supported by Senior Associate Esme Crofton-Ford, Associates Brandon Geraghty and Connor Smith, and Trainee Solicitor Pietro Lombardi.
Ryan Ayrton commented:
"This financing marks another significant milestone in Enviromena’s growth journey. We are delighted to have advised Enviromena on yet another important transaction and to have supported the team in securing further backing for its ambitious UK renewables programme."
Arjun Infrastructure backed Enviromena is a leading independent power producer focused on the development, construction, ownership and operation of large scale solar and battery storage assets across the UK and Europe. With a pipeline exceeding 3GW and over 300MWp of operational projects under management, Enviromena manages its assets across their full operational lifecycle.
