Travers Smith advises S4 Capital on the conditional merger of its Content practice with Jam3

Overview

Travers Smith LLP has advised S4 Capital plc on the conditional merger of its Content practice, built around creative digital content production company MediaMonks, with Jam3, an award-winning Toronto-based design and experience agency.

Founded in 2004, Jam3 is a design and experience agency based in Toronto, Los Angeles, Amsterdam, and Montevideo and led by Pablo Vio, Michael Dobell, Mark McQuillan, Adrian Belina, Jordan Cuddy and Miguel Moraleda. A global agency, Jam3 has over 150 employees worldwide who uncover relevance, purpose and innovation in everything they do. Together with their client portfolio of brands such as Facebook, Sonos, Adidas, eBay, Levi's and CrowdStrike, Jam3 launches new products and design platforms, bringing moving experiences to customers-digitally and beyond.

Through the merger, MediaMonks will deepen its creative capabilities and expand its presence in Los Angeles, The Netherlands, Canada and Latin America--with an all-new expansion in Uruguay.

The Travers Smith team was led by Corporate Partners Tom Coulter and Aaron Stocks, with support from Corporate Associate Hayley Knaggs. Stikeman Elliott LLP advised on the Canadian law aspects of the merger.

Corporate Partner, Tom Coulter noted: "We are delighted to have advised on another merger for S4 Capital with Jam3, an award-winning design and experience agency, which will further expand its Content practice."
