Travers Smith advises Alcazar Energy Partners II SLP on its US$336.6m first close

Overview

Travers Smith LLP has advised Alcazar Energy Partners II SLP (SCSp) ("AEP-II"), Alcazar Energy's renewable energy fund, on its successful first close of US$336.6m.

AEP-II, a sustainable infrastructure fund focused on utility-scale renewable energy projects in emerging markets, has a target size of US$500m and a hard cap of US$650m. At first close, AEP-II accepted US$336.6m of commitments from eight public and private institutional investors, including the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), the European Investment Bank (EIB), the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and EMCAF, a fund managed by AllianzGI and advised by EIB.
