Travers Smith LLP has advised the ITRS Group (ITRS), the leading provider of real-time monitoring and analytics for financial services, on its acquisition of OP5, a Stockholm headquartered global leader in providing IT monitoring and log analysis technology.
The Travers Smith team was led by Private Equity Partner Emma Havas and Senior Associate Tom Hartwright.
The purchase of OP5 follows ITRS’ strategy to build, buy and partner to deliver smart, automated and predictive end-to-end monitoring solutions for increasingly complex IT estates across industries. This development follows the successful acquisition of Sumerian (on which Travers Smith also advised ITRS), and partnerships with Apica and Velocimetrics to offer capacity planning, synthetic monitoring, load testing and real-time business insight.
Travers Smith also acted for the former majority shareholder of ITRS, the Carlyle Group and management on the sale of ITRS to TA Associates in March 2017.
Swedish law advice was provided by Fredrik Mörner and Hannah Gröndahl of Advokatfirman Delphi in Stockholm. Osborne Clark provided legal advice to the selling shareholders of OP5.
