Travers Smith LLP has announced today the promotion of three lawyers to its partnership, with effect from 1 July 2026.
The new partners and their principal areas of practice are:
Jason Larkins, Finance
Jason is a finance lawyer specialising in leveraged-finance transactions across the mid-market. He has strong experience advising a wide range of leading lender and sponsor clients as well as senior, mezzanine, second lien, unitranche and other private capital providers on a variety of matters across the capital structure in the UK, Europe, Africa and the US.
Michael Leadbeater, Finance
Michael is a leveraged finance lawyer with extensive experience acting on complex cross-border transactions throughout the mid-market. He is a trusted adviser to many of the Firm's key and longstanding private equity and lender clients, as well as supporting large corporate borrowers. His experience spans a variety of finance transactions, including leveraged buyouts, unitranche financings, FOLO structures, holdco PIK, refinancings and corporate restructurings.
Leigh Stockey, Funds
Leigh specialises in the establishment of evergreen investment funds for alternative asset managers aiming to diversify their investor bases beyond purely institutional clients. She has particular expertise in the design, distribution and operation of European domiciled funds specifically targeted at wealth managers and private banks.
