Travers Smith to host seminar on managing open source software risks

Travers Smith LLP is delighted to be partnering with leading open source software development and security consultancy Black Duck and industry body techUK to host a breakfast seminar focused on managing open source software risks.

The breakfast seminar, which will take place on 14 November, will examine the licensing, compliance and security risks associated with use of open source software as well as provide solutions for mapping, identifying and managing these risks.

Travers Smith Commercial, IP & Technology Partner Louisa Chambers, and Senior Associate James Longster will present the seminar along with Black Duck Vice President and General Counsel Matthew H Jacobs. Talal Rajab, techUK's Head of Programme, Cyber and National Security, will chair the session.

The seminar will be followed by coffee and an opportunity to discuss the issues with the speakers.
